How Electric Actuators Work

  • Nov 17, 2018

There are five types of electric actuators: straight-stroke electric actuators, quarter-turn electric actuators, electric control valves, PID electric adjustment actuators and solenoid valves. The first four are of the DDZ type. The following is a brief description of the linear actuator and the quarter-turn electric actuator.

The function of the straight stroke and the angular stroke electric actuator is to receive the standard value galvanic signal of 0~10, 4~20 mA or 1~5 volts from the regulator or other instrument, and become the displacement thrust after the actuator. Or corner torque, to operate the switch, valve, etc., to complete the task of automatic adjustment, these two actuators were previously composed of two parts of the servo amplifier and the actuator, now the organic and intelligent integrated structure, their structure, The working principle and the method of use are similar, the only difference is an output displacement (thrust) and an output rotation angle (torque).
